Colusa BioInnovation Center

In 2020, the City of Colusa began the arduous task of acquiring a long-dormant large industrial manufacturing site for the purpose of creating a business incubator program supporting start-up and growing Bio-innovative companies. Being in the center of the extraordinary agricultural production combined with unmatched transportation hub capacity translates into potential for companies utilizing ag-based inputs to create the future of innovation.

The Colusa BioInnovation Center is located just off of Hwy 20 with easy access to I-5, and Hwy45/99. Within its walls, multiple early stage manufacturing companies use agricultural inputs to create robust bio-fuels, sustainable building materials, alternative textiles performance bio-plastics and more.
