What We Do
The Code Enforcement Division investigates and enforces violations of the City of Colusa’s Municipal Code, including:
- Unpermitted cannabis activity
- Weed and rubbish abatement
- Abandoned or inoperable vehicles
- Housing and zoning violations
Our approach focuses on education and collaboration. We work to achieve voluntary compliance through outreach, notices, and follow-up. When necessary, legal procedures may be used to abate nuisances such as junk, debris, or vehicles.
Our ultimate goal is to help maintain and improve property values and the quality of life for all residents, businesses, and visitors in Colusa.
